Fire Extinguishers
Fire extinguishers are the first line of defense for facilities, bodies and factories when a fire occurs. Extinguishers are divided according to the degree of danger, the materials inside, and the flammable and combustible materials in the place where the firefighting system is to be installed. We will see this in some of the previous and subsequent works of Arab Fires, God willing, and we must specify Its weight and the extinguishing agent in it.
Definitions
Class A Fire: Wood - Paper - Fabrics - Rubber - and Plastic
Class B Fire: oils and fats, oil paints - flammable gases - flammable liquids
Class C Fire: Electricity
Class D Fire: Substances such as sodium, magnesium, titanium, lithium and potassium
Classification of Hazard:
Light: Class A & little of Class b
Ordinary: Class A & B
Extra: Class A & B but with large quantity Extra
Selection of Extinguishers
Each pump or fire extinguisher contains a different extinguishing substance according to the amount
Class A Fire: Water or Dry Chemical Class
B Fire: Foam, FFFP, AFFF, CO2, Dry Chemical
Class C Fire: Co2, Dry Chemical
Class D Fire: According to the Material & its chap bars or not
